Theoretical Physicist and Postdoc
Ramses Sanchez is a theoretical physicist and postdoc at the Bonn-Aachen International Center for Information Technology. His current research focuses mainly on developing implicit (deep) generative models to study different aspects of language, as well as various dynamical systems and stochastic processes. Ramses obtained his PhD from the university of Bonn in November 2017 and was a member of the H2 Bonn-Cologne Honor branch. His dissertation dealt with spin dynamics in “hot” one-dimensional nonperturbative quantum systems, and addressed questions as: how fast are collective modes allowed to travel in quantum systems at finite temperatures?
